Life is Better at the Beach

Can you really beat the beach? To be honest, I think that a beach is one of the most relaxing places to be, whether you are wrapped up warm against the cold sea breeze or sitting in your deck chair with the sun shining down on you; you simply cannot get anywhere better. I must admit, I am partial to a bit of white powder sand and crystal clear water in a foreign country, but I think that a day trip to the seaside can do anyone the world of good. Feeling the sand in your toes and the wind in your hair, whilst listening to the sound of the water, is one of the best feelings in the world.

In the Easter holiday, my family and I stayed at Fraisthorpe Sands, just down the coast from Bridlington, in our caravan. We have been going there every year for about 15 years, so we obviously love it! It was so lovely to just take a break for a few days, and do nothing but watch many an episode of Come Dine With Me! We also visited Bempton Cliffs, and even managed to spot a puffin! Nevertheless, we are always very sad to come home and go back to reality!

What are your favourite places to visit to relax? Did you do anything interesting over the break?

xoxo, Liv

  1. I am one of those people who would always chose the beach over mountains! Those pictures really make me miss the seaside, I guess it’s time for another vacation soon… 😉

    1. Thanks so much, I really do appreciate the support; as you can see I haven’t been doing this for very long, but I think I can safely say that yes it is hard work, sometimes you just can’t think of anything to write about, but once you get the idea it becomes quite easy to get on with, and enjoyable! I would say just write about things that you like, and also things that you can include photos with! I live in West Yorkshire. Hopefully that answered your questions well!! xoxo, Liv
